Hi! I am a modeler and am starting on a 1/4 scale piper cub. I am
going to build the J3P model with the Lenape 3 cylinder radial engine.
Currently have a Saito 3 cylinder engine I am using on the model.
Does anyone know of a J3P anywhere that is flying and I could
photograph?
Thanks!
Cliff

There are FAA databases that you can search for this kind of

Engine Manufacturer : LENAPPE
Model : AR3-160

I find it surprising that there are only two still flying in the U.S.
Note that the one in Oregon still has the Lenappe engine, according to
the database.
All the best,
David

Dunno about any that are flying, but the author of this article claims to know
of one in Oregon somewhere - check out
http://www.rcmodel.com/aeroncak/aeroncakarticle.html . Search for "lenape".

I know where there is a fresh overhauled 3 cylinder Lenape on a stand if
that helps.
